On Wednesday, 22nd of April, staff from Crinan attended the Alcohol Forum National Conference in Croke Park.
The theme for the day was ‘Best Available Evidence’. Delegates heard presentations from international and Irish experts on alcohol policy, such as Dr. Thomas Babor whose presentation was entitled “Looking Upstream: Evidenced based solutions for Alcohol – related problems in the Community”, and Prof. David Jernigan who spoke about alcohol marketing and youth.
The presentations were extremely interesting and informative, and provided an excellent opportunity for staff from Crinan to network with fellow professionals involved in alcohol policy and treatment.
